WHAT IS LIFA?

In 1970, Helly Hansen’s LIFA revolutionized the industry with the introduction of the first technical base layers. The fabric is based on a yarn technology that moves moisture away from the skin and transports it to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates, leaving the wearer warm, dry and comfortable.

LIFA Active base layers are for superior moisture management in addition to delivering lightweight warmth. Wear it as a layering piece next to skin on cold days, or as a single layer for all year activities.

LIFA MERINO LIGHTWEIGHT

A lightweight, 160 gram LIFA Merino base layer with a knitted interior, suitable for medium and high intensity activities where extra warmth and moisture wicking is needed.

LIFA MERINO base layers are for extra warmth on cold days. With a unique 2-in-1 construction, you get the best of two worlds. The synthetic LIFA Stay Warm Technology interior pushes moisture away from skin while maintaining an itch free hand feel. The 100% Merino Wool exterior generates extra warmth while wicking the moisture.

Our traditional medium 225 gram LIFA Merino fabric suitable for medium and high intensity activities where extra warmth is needed.

A brushed interior finish 250 gram LIFA Merino fabric suitable for medium and high intensity activities where extra warmth is needed, especially for those that run cold.

Slim fit to body. Fitted technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers. Pants are slimmer through the thigh and knee and won’t go much below the ankle when standing up straight.
